This year, the Lady Waves had a great season. Everybody represented Gallatin High in a well manner and put a great amount of effort into every game they played. They ended the season with two district tournament games against Wilson Central and Lebanon. In the Wilson Central game, they scored first and continued to score and play amazing defense against them, striving for the win. Unfortunately, the Lady Waves ended up having a sad loss 12 to 11. Both teams came prepared, but somebody had to lose.

Also, recently was senior night. The softball team had a win that evening against Lebanon. It was a spectacular night, but knowing that was the 7 seniors' last time playing at that field with the team was hard to overcome. On their last game against Lebanon, every one of the seniors did amazing, got great hits, and made some fantastic plays. They ended their high school softball career in an excellent way!! Every one of them has been attending Gallatin High School and has been playing for the Lady Waves since Freshman year. They've made so many inprovements and met a lot of their goals throughout the years. We will all miss them and wish them all the best of luck throughout their lives; Carly Taylor, Heather Daniel, Heidi Daniel, Christy Cowan, Morgan Durham, Rai Workings, and Aris Buycks.

We all can't wait until next season to see what the Lady Waves will bring us then.!!
